The buttercup is a yellow plant that almost looks like a sunflower, though its poisones  to only humans, when they eat it that has some water/poison or nectar on it but the buttercup is much smaller compared to the sunflower.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Habitat

Ranunculus acris is the common buttercup native to Europe and found in fields, lawns, gardens and roadsides throughout North America. Its a wildly hairy plant that grows to 1-2 feet in height, with a golden yellow shiny flower that is a cup saucer-shaped flower.                                                                                                                                                                                   Edibility                                                                   Is the buttercup edible NO.Why?Because it is poisones to humans when they eat it,touching it is fine but eating it will pretty much kill you.BUT heres a secrete, eventually the poison drys out but the problem is that it drys out at 12:00.P.M and nobody/nobody eats at 12:00.p.m which is the problem you cant eat it. :(                                                                                                                                                                                                   Medicinal uses                                                          You can not use buttercups for medicine. Why?Because the buttercup has no special uses such as curing, and is poisones, though some doctors will use it why?Because its poison drys out like i told them but it wont work because they will add things like soap, chemichals, all that healing stuff and it wont work it will just kill all the good resources they put inside it to make it non-poisones and when it drys out they will useit but it wont work because yes it dryed out and it has no special uses so it doesnt work,im sorry thats how it is. :(                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Interesting facts                                                   Buttercups can grow from 14 inches-16 inches in height.Buttercups have cup-shaped flowers composed of 5 petals.Flowers are usually bright yellow colored.Several species of buttercups have orange, red, or white flowers.
